The staff is very friendly, and helpful. They have a decent selection of books, CD's, DVD's, and comics. It could definitely be larger, hence the 4-star rating. They also have a 3D printer, with classes. They have fun children's programs. One of the best things is they started carrying friends and family memberships for multiple arts and recreation facilities, including the Battleship New Jersey and the Garden State Discovery Museum, to name a couple. You can check them out and visit the places for free.

Incredibly poor customer service. Their hours specifically state that they close at 5pm on Fridays, but they started giving me attitude at 4:45. Instead of helping me find a couple books for my 2yr old, they kept following behind me and threatening to close the check-out stations. II left at 4:58pm and they rolled their eyes at me as I walked out. I feel upset that my taxpayer dollars are going to a public service that is not providing the promised services. And seriously, when are they going to be open for the working mom? Their only weekend hours are Sat from 10-2. Do they not realize that is exactly when toddlers take naps?
Don't go after 3:00 until closing when school kids are in there. The are extremely disruptive, and noisy. Employees are indifferent and turn a blind eye and ear to the noise coming from the teens.
